The Unexpected

First and foremost I want to apologize for being utterly absent for oh let's say a year or so :(
So much has happened but the past is the past so I am going to start from earlier this month :)

My first year of grad school is officially over and thank goodness because it was getting to me...and bad! As apart of my graduate program I am required to have an international internship. This is what drew me to the program, I love HAVING to travel internationally :) My destination was beautiful Costa Rica! For a total of nine weeks I had planned to spend three weeks in Herida, Monteverde and Flamingo Beach.

Herida

Monteverde

Flamingo

I had what I thought was an amazing trip ahead of me.
My trip of a lifetime I thought.
Oh boy was I wrong! On Friday May 27th, I was walking room my bathroom to my bedroom in high heels showing CL what cute shoes they were and all I could say was I can't wait till we go out to dinner so I could wear them-I fell and I mean BARREL ROLL down the hallway.
Not my most glamorous moment whatsoever.
I ended up breaking three bones, my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Metatarsal.

So Costa Rica is a no go :( I was shocked and pissed off at myself for doing this and not being able to go on my internship.
Not to mention my parents were away on vacation and CL had to take care of my every need. He did an amazing job and made me fall in love all over again.
I am truly amazed at how attentive he was. I like to think it brought us closer together <3

What am I doing since i'm not in Costa Rica?
Well good thing you asked!
I am working when I can for extra cash,
learning Spanish from Rosetta Stone,
trying to clean out my my entire room,
and I am a research assistant for a professor at Chapman University.
If I get the go ahead from the doctor I will be going to San Francisco for a few weeks to work
and spend some much needed time before I go back to school,
CL starts law school and after the fiasco!

That is pretty much my update and from here on out I plan to write at least once a week. A goal I want to accomplish.

So Much To Say

I have so much to get off my chest, but no time to explain. After these next few days I will finally have time. My parents come into town tomorrow. I am so excited to see them :P I graduate on Tuesday night so they are coming for the PLSI graduation.
I have been so stressed lately. Lola (my car) s in the shop and needs a new starter. And tell me why it is $1,100???? I should be getting her on Monday, fingers crossed xxx. I just came home after a few days at CL's house. It was a nice get away but all the tension and stress of finals even got to me, and I am done with school! Last night I played this new card game called BANG! and it was a lot of fun. I got to meet some cool people and had a good time just hanging out. As soon as I went into my room, I knew someone had been in there. I know exactly what they tampered with and I am pissed. Is it that hard to call/text me and say hey can I go get something from your room? It wasn't theirs to take either!

I must be going! Off to dinner for some fun times with two birthdays girls.

Blogging for the first time!

So here it is. My very own, first blog. What do I say? I am thinking this is the place to write whatever I am feeling or if I have something to say, even if no one is listening :) Here I go... I love love LOVE living in San Francisco. I have been in this enchanted city for almost four years now and every year a little piece of me considers San Francisco to be my new home. I remember my first few months at SF State and had every intention of moving back to Whittier when I was done with school. Honestly, now that I look back I somehow thought life would go back to what it was when I left. Now that is not the case. The only thing keeping me from staying up here is my family and my two best friends. Not to mention money. With these hard times I have been searching it seems like constantly for a job. I will not leave SF with out a fight. I will do whatever it takes to stay up here. In the end if it does not work out I know I tried and one day I will be back.
